I saw this thread title, and though I have been reading the board from time to time, I had, through self-
imposed exile, stopped posting for a few months. Doctor Lipschitz though, here at the Asylum,
has begun to untie my arms for an hour or so at a time, so I decided to post a couple of verses
that deal with the subject at hand. Last night was "chili night", as it always is for us
patients on Tuesdays, and after supper I had quite a bout with indigestion.  I walked outside, (tethered by a cord, of course, which is held by a nurse), and stared up at the stars, as I gulped down some Pepto-Bismol. Since I
was in a jacket with my hands tied in front, the nurse had to pour the pink liquid down my throat. I bent my head
back as I swallowed, and gazed up at the stars; and the following verses came to mind:

"He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite". (Psalm 147: 4,5).

"And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever and ever". (Daniel 12:3).

God has special names for each and every star-----and for each and every one of us also. Pretty amazing and wonderful stuff huh?  Well, gotta go, I'm on kitchen detail--Wednesday is Ravioli night.

Hi Joe!

Good to have you back, if only for the short periods that Dr. Lipschitz allows you to use your fingers! ;D
It's that nurse Ratchett you really have to watch out for though! ;)

It might be that your humor will keep some of us from having to join you for chili night, etc. at the asylum ( I think they prefer to call them "Rest Homes" or "Recovery centers" now days. ;))

Thanks so much for your healthful humor,

                                                                                                Mark C.

In about 5 billion years this collision is going to happen to the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxies!
