: Tim Geftakys New Poster Boy For Abs of Steal : Bluejay April 11, 2003, 02:32:02 AM Abs of steel, a company that specializes in strengthening and defining the abdomen muscle, announced late Thursday that Tim Geftakys has been hired as the new poster boy.
Abs of Steel spokesperson Joe Blow had the following to say about the recent hire... "We know that people may question our choice of hire in this situation and do realize that our new poster boys obese figure is likely to turn some potential customers off...However, the good news is that we are already saving money!!! Based on the reccomendation of our new poster boy, we have decided to immediately terminate the contracts of everyone is our accounting and financing departments...Effective immediately, when purchasing our equipment, we will only be taking cash donations wrapped in aluminum foil. Tim Geftakys has graciously agreed to not only serve as our poster boy, but has volunteered to handle all finances as well!!! Furthermore, we feel that when potential customers look at our poster boy, they will be that much more inclined to work their abdomen muscle harder for fear of someday looking like that." Financial terms of the contract have yet to be announced. However, rumors were circulating late Wednesday that Geftakys' package would include a lifetime pass to the Fullerton Buffet. |
