No way, really, did that happen to you? The spears that I was referring to were sharp words that cut. Not cut as in cut to the heart, but cut as in rip you a new one. Oh, but the wounds of a friend are faithful. Operative word in that verse so often misquoted by certain megalomaniacs seeking an excuse is "friend". I don't think Saul was David's friend. |
