Peter Poppoff

For you who do not know Peter Popoff is a "Faith Healer"/Evangelist who has been publicly undeniably exposed as a fraud on a number of occassions.  One time it was the envelope trick.  He would predict a persons request before opening the envelope and reading it.  In actuallity he was reading it before another time it was his wife who would mill about the crowds with a microphone hooked up to her. she would ask people what is your problem and Peter would be on stage with the hearing aid and say "There is a woman out here who has cancer"...etc...  Yet for as much as he has been exposed people still flock to him  why?  He meets a need!  so does Tim and George!  This is scarry to think about but it is true!!

You're absolutely right. I used to see peter Popoff
on television a long time ago. When I heard he had
been exposed it didn't surprise me that much because
he was always asking for money. People basically flock
to him because people love miracles and emotion--with
Popoff it's the magical mystery of healing, with Tim or
George it's the "higher walk". More people are prone to follow a Peter Popoff than a Geftakys---but in both cases it's due to thinking "this man has the answer".
