Dave,

You have embarked on a career in a field that is run by people who do not know how to do the job.

They fall into two groups:

A. Politicians and college professors...neither of which have ever taught kids.

B. Administrators, the majority of whom are former teachers who weren't good at it.

Get used to it....or find a new field.

Or, even better....become an administrator.
