To say Charles Bukowski was a drunk is like saying Marlon Brando was overweight. Bukowski lived to drink. He saw it as his cross. "Hey," "It takes a lot to be a drunk!" was his motto. But he is known for his poetry. I recently read that he is considered one of the "beats". If you saw the movie "Barfly" then you know who he is. But do you think he is a good writer?
