This guy is awsome! He worked as a carpenter for 30 years and then decided to follow his heart! Alone in the Alaskan wilderness, he builds a log cabin with hand tools. At fifty he is a rock! His good-natured wit and desire to experience life are all the company he needs. He lived up there until the late 90's! I don't know about you but I have always received a charge by reading such books as "Out into the wild" or "My Side of the Mountain", "Hatchet" and so on!
