Nothing new there.  Although the news media blabs incessantly about the church allowing divorce, abortion, priestly marriage and women priests, (priestesses?), and so on, the RC Church has always taught this. 

In a way, they are correct...Christ founded one church.  The problem is that the Catholics haven't quite figured out its nature yet.
