After reading this site (and many others) for several weeks, I've been led in a certain direction.
The first is that I
really need to sit down and talk to some folks who've had real experience with The Assembly. Face to face dialogue. I am not interested in arguing, or debating, or "saving" anyone from anything
but just hearing about the ins and outs, good and bad, pros and cons of Assembly life.
I'll buy the coffee, you provide the insight. I'm asking this of all the St. Louis folks, especially those who are still in the organization. What is reality as you see it re: this group? What are the things you are
not posting? What is life like? I'm not looking to write an expose, but just to understand.
Secondly, I am interested in whether or not the Assembly meetings are open to interested visitors. NOT interested in joining, however, just interested in seeing what it's like. If there have been changes made, there should be no problem with a visitor attending, right? We're all brothers and sisters. (No, I'm not willfully stupid. That comment was rather pointed.)
So I ask you, who would be interested in meeting with me sometime? Still in, or out, or whatever. If you are uncomfortable posting here, e-mail me at
realityfuel@hotmail.com.
Thanks.
