Superhuman Christ?

On the front page of Steve Iron's website he has a section called "The Assemblies".

In that section there is an article with a link to a discussion of Tim Geftaky's ideas on the nature of the incarnation. The link is called, "Superhuman Christ".

If the views desciribed are what Tim G. really believes and teaches, then he is teaching heresy.  

Does anyone else know anything about this?

I do not recall ever hearing Tim G. teach that "Christ never sweat, choked, got dust in his eyes, burped, etc.", and I do recall him teaching that Christ was human including sweating and getting tired.  At one campus conference he refuted the teaching (I think it may have been Monophysitism) that Christ never was a man and Tim affirmed that indeed he was.  At that time, he explained his understanding of the "hypostatic union", i.e. that Christ was both God and man at the same time--same thing that George always preached, that Christ was 100% God and 100% man.

I also remember Tim very explicitly preaching against the seventh day creation of man during a Tuesday evening Bible study.  I actually found it refreshing that he was willing to stand up against his dad.

I don't ever remember Tim preaching about the superhuman Christ.  There were occasional shifts in his theology, but I don't remember that.  I think part of the problem was that he was very dogmatic about all aspects of his theology, essential, or not.  I think this was a problem with the assemblies, in general.

That extract on GA.com comes from one of my posts. Tim spoke of his inclination towards that belief, but stated that he was not dogmatic about it. When my husband spoke to him about it (in my presence) after the meeting, Tim did not change his mind at that time. This was at the ECC 2002 (1 1/2 year ago). At this point I do not know if Tim has changed his mind on that belief.
