Cheesy

DO ANY OF YOU JUST SIT AND ENJOY GOD'S CREATION"

IT IS 1:03 AM. EST. IN THE OTTAWA VALLEY .

I JUST TOOK MY ANIMAL OUT FOR WELL YOU KNOW!!

I SAT AT MY PICNIC TABLE.
LOOKED UP INTO THE SKY.
WATCHING THOSE FEW STARS THAT DARE PEEK OUT FROM THE CLOUDS.
THE NEW LEAVES ON THE TREES ARE GENTLY BLOWING IN THE BREEZE.
I ESPECIALLY LIKE SOMETIMES AT 3 AM, WHEN THE SKY IS CLEAR, PIECES OF SONGS GO THROUGH MY HEAD.

ALL HEAVEN DECLARES THE GLORY OF THE RISEN LORD

OR THE SONG HE'S EVERYTHING TO ME

HEAVENLY SUNLIGHT

EVEN THE AMAZEMENT OF THE DETAILS OF ALL THE SPECIES OF THE EARTH.
A PURRYING CAT, LIONS MANE, ETC.

SO LETS ENJOY GOD'S BEAUTY, WHETHER IT A FOOT OF SNOW ON TULIPS, OR ROBIN'S BUILDING THEIR NEST, CAT ON YOUR SHOULDER AS YOUR TRYING TO TYPE.
OR A SLEEPING BABY IN YOUR ARMS.
IT IS ALL GOD'S CREATION.

YES GUYS EVEN ICE FOR THE HOCKEY GAMES.

THERE IS A SONG IN MY HYMN BOOK:
CALLED "FOR THE BEAUTY OF THE EARTH"
VERSE ONE SPEAKS OF :
FOR THE BEAUTY OF THE EARTH, FOR THE GLORY OF THE SKIES, FOR THE LOVE, WHICH FROM OUR BIRTH, OVER AND AROUND US LIES.
LORD OF ALL TO THEE WE RAISE
THIS OUR HYMN OF GRATEFUL PRAISE.

THERE ARE FIVE VERSES:  Smiley

 Roll Eyes Cheesy
Forgive me if I reply to my own site:

PSALM 33:5

HE LOVES RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE
THE EARTH IS FULL OF THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD.

VS:6

BY THE WORD OF THE LORD THE HEAVENS WERE MADE
AND THE HOST OF THEM BY THE BREATH OF HIS MOUTH.

VS:8

LET ALL THE EARTH FEAR THE LORD
LET ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE WORLD STAND IN AWE OF HIM.

VS:9) FOR HE SPOKE, ADN IT WAS DONE;
HE COMMANDED  and
IT STOOD FAST.
VS:18): BEHOLD THE EYE OF THE LORD IS ON THOSE
WHO FEAR HIM.
ON THOSE WHO HOPE IN HIS MERCY.

PSALM 33

My NJKV OPEN STUDY BIBLE:
a commentary for verse 9: God spoke the universe into existence as the expression of his divine will.

Creation : image a creator so powerful, to just speak, and it forms.
Just a breath of his mouth.
Just inhaling one breath, He provided life to an entire world.
Just one word the universe was created.

Think.  One word, One breath,  ONE GOD

(INSERT A SMILEY WITH CLAPPING OR PRAYING HANDS)

My point is that , can we ignore creation, shouldnt we be paying more attention to the beauty of creation, the marvelous details of creation, the patterns, the fragrances, the differences, the abundances, the beauty to the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands, and heart.
As we drink in this beauty of creation, created by God,
Should we be at AWE in the presence of God.
Stars, moon, flowers, animals, people. so different, so many kinds, all the littles details.
          AWESOME:
Like the children song goes:
Our God is an Awesome God,
 He reigns from Heaven above,
with wisdoms , power and love,
Kiss Our God is an Awesome God. Kiss

Did you ever have a laughing fit that you just couldn't seem to get rid of? I think God had one of those right after he created the platypus.

MAY 27: 5:36 PM EST:

I AM NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE CORRECT THREAD TO POST THIS.

BUT I WAS FORWARDED THIS TODAY. AND WANT TO SHARE

If you woke up this morning
                                with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

                                If you have never experienced
                                the danger of battle,
                                the loneliness of imprisonment,
                                the agony of torture or
                                the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
                                around the world.

If you attend a church meeting
                                without fear of harassment,
                                arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive,
                                you are very rare,
                                especially in Canada.

If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
                                but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
                                offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways
                                you may never even know.

SORRY FOR THE FORMAT.

 :)JUNE 29TH: 11:16 AM EST:
OTTAWA VALLEY, ONTARIO , CANADA.

Hi: Gang:

I was writting a story of a squirrel, my cat Percy walked across the keyboard and erased it.

This morning as I was putting my dog Missy out(well you know what for), I tied Percy on his leash , he was sitting  on top of the picnic table, and I was sitting at the picnic table.
The sky looks like rain, and I was going through a mental list of what I had to do today.

In a neighbours yard, there was a baby squirrel.
You should of seen this little thing.
He was all by himself, or so I thought.
He was running from a tree, into the yard, He would jump and hop and back to the tree, climb up to the first branch.  He must of done that a number of time.
Then I saw Mama Squirrel in the play ground other the other side of the fence, having breakfast, and watching her young one.   I presumed all that play, was a way of practicing his alertness.
Mama must of spotted me and the animals watching, and a quick as you can, both of them disappeared, walking along the hydro wire toward the big maple tree that is going just outside my back fence. This is where there are several squirrel nests are.

Watching this reminded me of a story , a neighbour told me when my youngest daughter Sara, was 3 years old. At the time, although I had a fence in yard, there was no gate to the playground that adjacent the back yard. At the time there was swings, and play structure, and a huge slide.

A neighbour told me, that Sara was trying to climb the chain link fence, she couldnt quite do it, so she got a lawn chair, and  climb up on it. She still had to climb up the fence a fair piece for a 3 year old.
She struggled a fair time, but managed to get over it .
She look around to see if I was watching her.
Apparently not.
She jumped up, and cheered that she made it to the playground.  Then she ran off to enjoy her new freedom at the play structure.
If she ran into problems there was no way I could of climbed that fence.
My neighbour told me, They got a kick out of watch Sara.
Dont forget Sara big sister was 6 1/2 years older than she was, Sara was being taught a great deal by Christie.
Watching that squirrel today, reminded me of Sara.
Just that little bit of freedom.
That day was Sara independence day to be able to get into that playground. She was safe there except for bullies. She wasnt on the road, and she was in plain view of the house and my eyes .
Even though she had a swing set in the back yard. Going to play with the others in the playground was a goal she set for her self and accomplished it.
That squirrel was tasting that same amount of freedom, yet mama wasnt too far away, and that squirrel knew enough  danger stranger street smarts, to always be near an escape route.

Watching that squirrel today, made me thank God in silent.
God grants us that  freedom, to enjoy things, to be us., yet He is not that far away , watching, ready to help when there is danger. He had taught us enough to be aware of the danger our selves, and know the escape route to Himself.
Watching God's creation, even a little squirrel learning how to survive on his own, yet with Mamma squirrel still there to help,  can teach us alot about the Creator Himself.

Cheesy: July 14th at 12:13 am

Topic : Creation:
from the book: Tale of the Tardy Oxcart:

Napolean, the French Military Genius, was aboard ship in the Mediterranean on elar, starry night. He was on deck and was walking past a small group of officers who were mocking the idea of a Supreme Being. "God of creation, wat a joke.!" He stopped, stared at them, and then was sweeping his hands across the stars of the sky and said. "Gentlemen, you must get rid of those first."

Did any of you get to see the Northern Lights that were on display week of November 12th.

I was just stepping out of the church after evening services. About 7:45 pm. The display was simply glorious.

It was all around the sky. The prism effects.
The different in colours. The shades of greens and blues in the night sky was brillant.

--The squirrels are out in abundance. With the mild spring like weather we have been having. The animals collecting food for the winter are out in full force.
The other day when I was walking up Harrington Street, from the Galilee Grove area towards home.
There was about 5-6 different squirrels in a  front lawn , collecting the cranapple that we fallen to the ground.
One was a beautiful grey squirrel. All of these squirrels were well feed, husky. As I approached where they were. The collected at the bottom of the tree, continuing to load there mouth with their precious food store. Squirrels are an interesting creature to watch.
Especially when there is a few youngsters playing.

-this time of year , do I like the way the moon becomes large and brillant. The harvest moon.
Did any of you saw the eclipse last month.
-at night I like to look up into the sky, and see all the stars, especially on a clear night. Although this time of year, a clear night is a cold and crisp night. But the stars are so bright , appearing to be close, that you can almost touch them. The moon last night is in the half position. Even when it is a half moon it is shining so brillant.
Watching the creation of God , all you can do is worship and praise him, thanking him for his handiwork.
When the solar storm occurred for the northern lights, God was really putting on a magificent show for all of us to enjoy.  Enjoy it I did. I was so memorized by the sky colour display, that I went in to the church and told everyone. We were all looking out at the beauty of it.

So as tomorrow is the LORD DAY... Let us be memorized with God's handiwork in his Creation.

Hi Lenore,

Yes, I saw some Northern Lights for one night here. A friend called me up at 1 am and I watched them here for 45 minutes. What I could see from my small space of sky were streaks of white stretched from east to west and patches of white above my house. I live right outside the city limits where we normally don't see northern lights, so this was a treat.
