Subject:   Request from Germany
From:   "Harvey & Carol Ritz" <ritz@cidnet.de>
Date:   Fri, June 18, 2004 17:31

Dear Prayer Partners,
About a month ago Mr. Bradl sent in the coupon he had received over a
year ago in our literature distributions here in our area. He asked for
the free New Testament which we offered. When I delivered it and other
literature he shared with me his desire to learn more about the Christian
faith. He is about 46 years old, living on welfare, and  with many other
personal problems that keep him from holding down a job. He has started
attending church, seems to enjoy it, and expresses a desire to learn more
about the gospel and experience a real change in his own life. Today we
talked about the two ways of Matt. 7: 13-14. The power of Satan in his
life is great. Pray that this will be broken and that through Christ his
life will be completely changed.
Thank you for remembering this urgent request especially in the next few
days and weeks.
Blessings to you,
Harvey Ritz.

-------------------------------------------------------------------- Smiley

:)Thank you my fellow believers in our Lord Jesus Christ , for your prayers in this manner.

Harvey Ritz is the Father of my Pastor's wife.

:)CANADA DAY AND INDEPENDENCE DAY IS APPROACHING:

LET US PRAY FOR OUR COUNTRIES AND THE COUNTRY LEADERS.

SINCE BOTH COUNTRIES ARE FACING ELECTIONS.

CANADA - FEDERAL ELECTION JUNE 28:

PRAY THAT GOD MIGHTY HAND WILL BE UPON THE LEADERS OF EACH COUNTRY.
THAT WOULD BE BEST LEADER FOR THE COUNTRY.
BEST LEADER FOR THE WORLD STAGE, THAT WOULD REPRESENT OUR COUNTRIES.

As the Bible says to pray for our countries leaders.

So with our countries birthdays coming up.

Let us as a group of believers, remember to pray for our countries and its leaders.

Thank you.

 :)JUNE 25: 3:27 AM:

This was off of my Sunday School paper:

PRAYER OF THE HEART:

O Lord , I am tired and feeling worn out
You I am weary; please keep from doubt

Vulnerable and weak is this flesh of mine.
The temptation is great, my will would resign.

When I start to complain, Lord, bridle my tongue,
I fear I might slip and would hurt someone.

Whenever my ways begin to offend,
Rebuke me, dear Lord, and spare my friend.

When my attitude shows a seeming decline,
Remind me, dear Lord, by some little sign.

Oh, give me a heart that with love outpours,
And give me a mind that is more like Yours.

Give me a spirit where others are first
And give me a soul to feed someone's thirst.

To please only you, Lord, the prayer os my heart;
Help my focus be Christ, as today I must start.

 Cheesy: July 16th:

Dear Lord:
On this Lord's Day:

Let us remember who you are. You are our Saviour, the Son of the Living God, our Lord Jesus Christ, who is our Brother, our Friend , our Husband, and our King.

I will like to pray today for the people who are members, who are guest on this Board, and their families.

I will like to lay at your feet, their hurts, disappointments, their disillusions, their anger, and their confusion.

I will like to lay at your feet their illnesses, their injuries, and their pain.

I will like to lay at your feet their emotions, their lives, their loves, and their hates.
I will like to lay at your feet, their faith, the ones who are struggling, the ones who are holding on to your hand, the ones who need your comfort, the one who needs a friend, the one who needs answers from the one who can give them the answers they seek.

I will like to lay at your feet, the ones who are going through trials, struggles, changes in life.
I will like to lay at your feet, their marriages, their children & grandchildren, their jobs, their families, their neighbours, and their communities.
I will like to lay at your feet their place of worship, may they be encouraged by the word being preached from the pulpit. I will like to lay at your feet their spiritual leaders that they maybe sensitive to the special needs of the ones in their congregations.

I will like to lay at your feet their home life.

Lord I lay at your feet each and every one of these people that are on this board in some way.
I lay myself at your feet, may I be use by you to bring encouragement that needs it. Guide me to the one who needs it.

Lord thank you for the answer prayers and the one's you will touch tonight.
Lord thank you for your promise you will never leave us nor forsake us.
Iwill like to lay at your feet the prodigals and I thank you  that you will gently bring them back to you.

Lord I thank you that you do not want to see anyone perish. Thankyou that we can give all we have, am, was, will be to you.

Lord I ask all these in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of our Soul.

Amen

Topic: Prayer:

Story: ''THE RED UMBRELLA"

In a small farming community in the MidWest , the farmers didn't know what to do.  The drought was dragging on and on for what seemed an eternity.  THe rain was very important to the community's way of life. As the problem became more urgent, the local church felt it was time to get involved and planned a prayer meeting in order to ask for rain.

When the pastor arrived, he watched as his congregation continued to file in.  He slowly circulated from group to group as he made his way to the front in order to officially begin the meeting.  As the pastor finally secured his place in front of his flock, his thought were on the importance of quieting the crowd and starting the meeting.

Just as he began asking for quiet, he noticed an eleven year old girl sitting in the front row.  She was angelically beaming with excitement and laying next to her was her b right red umbrella, poised for use.

The beauty and innocence of this sight made the pastor smile to himself as he realized the faith this young girl possess that the rest of the people in the room seemed to have forgotten. For the rest had come just to pray for rain -- she had come to see God answer.

:)AUGUST 11TH AT 7:44 PM EST. ARNPRIOR, ONTARIO. CANADA.

GIDDAY:

I HAVE PRAYER REQUEST:

PLEASE PRAY FOR MY DAUGHTER SARA Undecided

SHE IS MAKING A DECISION THAT IF I WAS IN THE STATES I WOULD BE ABLE TO PREVENT IT BY USING A LAW. IN CANADA THERE IS NO LAW TO SUPPORT MY AUTHORITY. Roll Eyes

Sara is thinking with her heart, starry eyes,  not the what if's of her head.

She knows she has the disapproval of me, the person she is boarding with, her sister, her best friend.

SARA IS 17 , planning on meeting a man in North Bay, 100 miles away from Arnprior, travelling by bus, to a city she has never been to, to meet a man of 30, she met at a wedding reception two weeks ago.

PLEASE PRAY THAT GOD WILL INTERVENE. IN A MIGHTY WAY.

I have pleaded, argued, and tried to reason with her.
Because of Canadian laws, giving the age of 14 years and up freedom to choose , and as long as their isnt roles of authority involved. These teenagers can choose any partner at any age.

SARA IS PLANNING THIS "LITTLE" TRIP NEXT THURSDAY.

I AM ASKING FOR PRAYER FROM BB CROWD, LEAVING SARA INTO GOD'S HAND TO DEAL WITH SO CALL DECISIONAL CHOICE OF SARA'S.

I am worried, I h ave a strong mother's insight, that if she goes through with this decision, she will suffer a consequence that she is not thinking of, and will have to deal with in a very hard life lesson.

I am going on a promise of God. I dont know where to find it at the moment.
What ever Man's plans for his life. It is God who has the final say in it. (?) Huh

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS IN THIS MATTER, AND THANK GOD FOR HIS ANSWERED PRAYERS IN THIS MATTER.

AMEN

Canada sounds like a bleak place!

Is this your verse?

Proverbs 19:21
There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

Hi Lenore,

The verse that occurred to me was Proverbs 16:33:  The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.  It has been paraphrased as:  Man proposes, but God disposes.

     We're praying...

God bless,
al
