Dave,
I just read your post regarding the discipline situation in your church.
Praise God that he gifts his church with men like you.
Folks who read this, this is what an elder's voice should sound like.
A care for ALL the souls involved.
A stand for righteousness, tempered, but not compromised, by mercy and wisdom.
A measure of good old common sense.
Your post would make a good front page article on this site.

You are correct, this post would make a good article, and probably will.
When this happens, I will title the article, "What Could Have Been."
These issues were brought up long ago, and could have been dealt with in exactly the manner that Dave suggests. Sad, isn't it?
