I hadn't put this verse with the assembly before.  Interesting.
I had seen the Saul-David relationship as being a good analogy for it tho.  Especially for living in brother's houses.  Being the in same house and under the authority of a man of the flesh who was being a tyrant and having fits of rage...etc.

No way, really, did that happen to you?  The spears that I was referring to were sharp words that cut.  Not cut as in cut to the heart, but cut as in rip you a new one.  Oh, but the wounds of a friend are faithful.  Operative word in that verse so often misquoted by certain megalomaniacs seeking an excuse is "friend".  I don't think Saul was David's friend.
