I know that there are many who view here that are from Illinois.   Granite City has one of the filthiest of all of the killing fields of the innocents.  The Michaels' family have been standing in the gap for these little ones  for over 10 years.   Groups that support this "right of a woman" hate for things like the following to come to the light.   Please help bring this to the attention of your elected officials.   There are 73 churches in Granite City Illinois who refuse to participate in standing for these innocents.

It Happened Again…

Outrage in Granite City, Illinois

Another mother was held outside the Hope abortion Clinic while her underage 14-year-old daughter plays hooky from school and undergoes an abortion without
her consent or knowledge.

Mother loses custody of her fourteen year old daughter for two and a half hours.

Hope abortion Clinic becomes the parent of underage pregnant girl.

Written by Angela Michael

As the Small Victories ultrasound van rolled up to the crime scene, we saw a commotion and three Granite City squad cars. The police had just placed the
mother of an under-age 14 year old girl in the backseat. They were arresting her for trespass. She had just finished her school bus route when she was
notified her daughter was not at school, but at the Hope Clinic. In a panic she woke her sleeping husband up, he works third shift, and they sped off to
the abortion mill in Granite City, Illinois.

It was 8:40 a.m. Proclaimer Nolan asked if he could help them and the mother quickly relayed the horrible story that she was there to find her daughter.
Both parents went to the guard shack directly in front of this mill entrance. Yale security guard Bob, let them enter after a short conversation. A few
minutes later the front door opened and someone was yelling “Amanda”... “Amanda, don’t do it!” That’s when police arrived.

Employees began isolating this mother from abortion bound clients inside and they ushered the daughter to another part of this abortuary where she couldn’t
have contact or hear her mother’s cries. During this time, the workers kept telling this mother who took a seat by the front desk, that “she can’t prove
her daughter was here.” The mother then informed them she saw her daughter’s sign in time and it was highlighted at the check in point. Employee Klara
then told her, “It’s your daughter’s rights, it’s her body.”  Med tech Gwynne, “You have no rights.” The fact that “my rights, my body, my choice” has
become the mantra of the day is not our problem. It is a sign and judgment from God. “In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as he saw fit.” Judges
21:25

They shut the ultrasound room and the door to the room full of mothers waiting to kill. The police placed the mother’s hands behind her back, took the mother
in custody and put her in the squad car. The mother was crying out, “Please, please, help me… my daughter is in there.” I assured her we would do whatever
we could to help her.

I asked the officers Darrell May and Joe Mangiaracino, “Could I please talk with them?” They complied and I asked, “Why were they arresting this mother?”
and that they had the wrong person. “Why aren’t you arresting the man who got her daughter pregnant?” I asked if they, “Were going to find out who the
father of the baby was and his age? Are you going to enforce the statutory rape law in Illinois? Where’s her mother’s rights? She pays her bills and is
responsible for her welfare.” The police said the abortion clinic wouldn’t give them that information concerning the paternity of the baby. “Why not?”
I asked. The officer said, “That’s not the problem.” “Huh?” “The problem is the mother wants to stop the abortion,” according to this officer.

When the mother went into the clinic she requested to see her daughter. The abortion clinic took the pregnant girl to another room and concealed her. They
refused to help this distraught mother. They then called police. She sat in a chair and refused to leave without seeing or talking to her daughter. The
local police could have given this mother an escort to visit her daughter, but they failed…miserably. Every police officer present at the scene has betrayed
God, the family, and their badge. These men took oaths to serve America’s citizens and protect against injustice, yet have failed miserably. We seem to
be having a love affair with death. Isaiah 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil…”

While the mother sat in the police car, the father of the baby and his mother who posed as the pregnant underage girl’s grandmother and phoned the high
school to cover her absence from school, were sneaked out the back door of the abortion mill by Hope employees, and the pregnant girl was told her mother
had left the scene. Another lie. The Granite City police neither served nor protected this mother, her young daughter, or the unborn child from the terrorists
within Hope(less) abortion mill. The Hope abortion Clinic shattered the covenant between this mother and daughter. They advertise “Where there’s choice,
there’s hope”.. the only choice Hope Clinic gives is Tuesday or Thursday. They want to parent our children. A more malevolent parent would not be found.
God has given parents the responsibility of raising His children.

After talking with a family friend, the father of the baby and his mother, who called the school and posed as her grandmother to cover-up her
absence from school, brought her to the clinic to get rid of this baby, he had plans to go to college and this baby would interfere.

The abortion clinic had decided to take upon itself, the role of parent. They now are kidnapping underage children keeping them at bay while
parents, who have been ordained by God to nurture, protect and care for them are denied their God-given rights to do so!

The abortionist Yogendra Shah arrived at 9:35 a.m. with Hope Clinic director Sally Burgess in tow. It was about this time the police released the mother
from custody so she could press charges in her local town against this father of the baby and his mother who pressured and brought her fourteen-year-old
daughter to Hope Clinic to terminate the pregnancy.

We gathered in prayer and kept a vigil outside this mill. Exactly one hour later at 10:35 a.m. this young girl, looking rather disheveled, walked out, into
relatives arms, those who stayed behind. She told us that employees kept her in a quiet room till the procedure. When she asked employees to give her mother
a message, they came back in the room and told her that her mother had left. Another lie. All the time her mother was sitting in a squad car pleading for
her welfare and release. Employees assured this girl on her departure, “No-one will ever know you were here, we’ll bury your records.” Another lie.

This is not the first time a parent’s rights were trumped. It was well documented on February 21st, 2002 that a mother from Mascoutah, Illinois was held
outside while her underage daughter underwent an abortion without her mother’s knowledge or consent and tormented by the Hope abortion Clinic staff.

Forget about whether you agree or disagree with abortion. How is it that a parent has no say in a major medical decision involving her child? A 14-year-old
girl can’t get emergency room treatment for a broken bone or stitches until a parent authorizes it. She can’t get a tattoo or her ears pierced without
her parents’ permission. She can’t even get an aspirin at school unless her parents say it’s OK.

Yet the law allows her to get an abortion, an evasive surgical procedure, which can have life-threatening complications, without her parents’
consent or even knowledge.

Hope abortion Clinic will say that they were only following the law, but the law needs to change.

Illinois law-makers need to restore the rights of parents and put their rights back in the parents’ hands and not the blood-money profiteers.

The law needs to change.

Jeremiah 31:15 “A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted because her children
are no more.”

Don't misunderstand me on this one Tony for I agree we need to stand up and be counted. We also need to pray for God's mercy on this nation.
The parents of that young lady had lost the battle long before she ever arrived at that abortion clinic.

Verne,

I don't understand your point since it is irrelevant to the information offered in my post.

I don't know if the parents were Christians and whether they may or may not have failed their daughter is not the point at all.   I don't have enough information to make a call like that.   This is a 14 year old girl who was brought to a "clinic" to have a major surgical procedure done on her without her parents permission.   I find it disheartening if Christians who are shown information such as this, are not energized to take some steps to put an end to it.
All I know for sure from the information is that another innocent child was killed and a young girl will be scarred for life.

Complete in Him,
Tony

Forgive me Tony.
I spoke somewhat in frustration.
I do not know if the parents were believers or not and there was nothing in the story that warranted the assumption that they were.
I have been thinking a lot about the recent statistic that at the rate of salvation taking place in the U.S., Christian parents are failing to evangelize their own children.
At any rate, the point I was trying to make was as horrible as the abortion of this fourteen year old's baby was, an equally sad tragedy was the decisions made that led her to be in that position.  It is my judgment that the relationships in that family were not all they should be, certainly not with that young lady...that was my point Tony...

On a personal note, I have attributed my draw to the Assembly to the fact that I have a non-confrontive personality and I am so distrustful of my own person (to the point that I feel physically terrified in confrontation) that I naturally defer to those who have stronger authority -

I am curious. Notwithstanding your own bent for giving way to others Dave, you were nonetheless one of those who left and stood against the system. Arguablly there were stronger personalities than yours who remained.
I conclude that the matter of personality alone  is entrely insufficient to explain how and why folk made their decision...
