JPL Open House: An Invitation to the Solar System and Beyond

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., invites the public to share the "Spirit of Exploration" during its Open House on Saturday and Sunday, May 14 and 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors will go behind the scenes to learn about exciting missions to study the solar system, the universe, and our home planet.

Gambling addicts take note!

A large mass (more than 800 pounds) from NASA's Deep Impact spacecraft will approach Comet Tempel 1 going 22800 miles per hour and collide with it on July 3 at 10:50 PM PDT.

Stephen, do you live in Southern California?  I am a member of Orange County Astronomers. I would love to attend this event but I am really busy right now!  I have to finish 4 classes by August. Bro pick me up some free bees!
